But there is also a lot to do away from a relaxing beach day in the region. You can see the ruins of 2,000 year old cities, visit nature parks and try different sports.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inspirations for activities in \u00d6l\u00fcdeniz summarized in a nutshell:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Paragliding from Babadag Mountain back to Oludeniz beach<\/li>\n<li>In Fethiye \/ \u00d6l\u00fcdeniz starts the 510 kilometer long Lycian long distance trail towards Antalya<\/li>\n<li>In Fethiye there are ancient Lycian rock tombs<\/li>\n<li>The ruins of Myra and the tomb of Nicholas of Myra in Demre<br \/>\nUNSECO World Heritage Site Xanthos with Letoon, the federal sanctuary of the Lycian Confederation<\/li>\n<li>Excursion to the \u201cghost town\u201d Kayak\u00f6y.
